Applicants can expect to join a company committed to high service standards and continuous improvement in worldwide freight transport.Role Description The Logistics Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This role is responsible for planning and coordinating daily freight operations, including booking shipments, arranging transport modes (air, sea, and land), and tracking cargo from origin to destination. The Logistics Coordinator will manage documentation for export/import and customs clearance, liaise with carriers, agents, and customers, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies. The role involves monitoring inventory and warehousing activities, resolving shipment delays or discrepancies, and maintaining accurate records in logistics and inventory systems. The Logistics Coordinator will also support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize routes, costs, and service quality.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills, including the ability to interpret logistics data, track shipment performance, and solve operational issues.Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with customers, carriers, internal teams, and external partners.Candidates should possess solid Customer Service skills, focusing on responsiveness, problem-solving, and maintaining positive client relationships.Candidates should possess hands-on Inventory Management skills, including stock monitoring, reconciliation, and coordination with warehousing operations.Candidates should possess knowledge of Supply Chain Management, including freight forwarding processes, export/import procedures, and customs regulations.Additional beneficial qualifications include proficiency with logistics software and MS Office, attention to detail, time management, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field, and prior experience in shipping or freight forwarding within the UAE or GCC region are highly advantageous.
