Alarkan General Trading FZE in Dubai Jebel Ali Free Zone, is a well-established distributor and supplier of genuine auto spare parts and accessories. With over 25 years of experience in the auto parts industry.
The candidate must have hands-on experience with Dubai Trade, Dubai Customs Mirsal 2, and Dubai Chamber of Commerce documentation, along with strong coordination and shipment tracking skills.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate inbound and outbound shipments by sea, air, and road, ensuring timely clearance and delivery.Prepare and process customs declarations through Mirsal 2, including import, export, re-export, and free zone movements, as applicable.Handle shipment-related transactions and documentation through Dubai Trade.Prepare and process Certificates of Origin through Dubai Chamber of Commerce, including supporting documents and attestations when required.Prepare and verify commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, airway bills, delivery orders, and other shipping documents.Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, transporters, customs brokers, and warehouse teams.Check HS codes, shipment details, declared values, and country-of-origin information for accuracy.Coordinate cargo collection, container movements, delivery schedules, and gate passes.Track shipments and resolve documentation discrepancies, clearance delays, and delivery issues.Monitor freight and clearance costs and help minimize demurrage, detention, and storage charges.Maintain accurate shipment records, customs documents, and logistics reports.Work closely with sales, procurement, finance, and warehouse teams to support smooth order fulfilment.Required Qualifications and ExperienceMinimum 3 years of UAE logistics experience, preferably with a JAFZA-based trading company.Proven hands-on experience with Dubai Trade and Mirsal 2.Experience processing Dubai Chamber of Commerce Certificates of Origin.Good knowledge of JAFZA logistics procedures, customs clearance, and import/export documentation.Understanding of HS codes, Incoterms, and sea, air, and road freight operations.Diploma or bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems; SAP experience is an advantage.Good communication skillsStrong attention to detail, follow-up skills, and ability to manage multiple shipments under tight deadlines.PreferredExperience in automotive spare parts logistics.Experience handling GCC and international export shipments.
