You'll be the go to person for incoming and outgoing material on site, keeping shipments accurate, the build team stocked, and freight moving on schedule.What You'll DoVerify incoming shipments against supplier paperwork, packing lists, and purchase orders, and resolve discrepancies with the purchasing teamSchedule pickups and deliveries for LTL freight and small parcel shipments (FedEx/UPS)Follow customer shipping guidelines, including routing and packaging instructionsBring the build team and engineers in on quality control reviews of incoming shipmentsCommunicate shipment status, tracking, exceptions, insurance, and claim details to internal teams, carriers, and vendorsRoute and file purchasing, receiving, and accounting paperwork accuratelyProcess problem invoices and handle returns, including logging and tracking root cause codesOrganize material storage areas and deliver materials to job shelves to support line side stockingStage skids and bulk material at point of use locations and complete material check in for the build teamLoad and unload machinery and equipment from all types of trucks and trailersTrack and manage company fleet vehicle sign outWork with the logistics team and other departments to improve material flowWhat You Bring3+ years of experience in a business environmentLogistics, material management, or supply chain experienceProficient in Microsoft OfficeTeam player who takes direction well and can also work independentlyAble to lift up to 50 lbsAble to obtain a forklift (Hi Lo) and overhead crane license once hiredHigh school diploma or equivalent
