Role SummaryWe’re looking for a Logistics Coordinator – Marine to support Inqlha’s port and container transportation operations. The role is responsible for coordinating outsourced trucks, managing container movements, monitoring port and terminal activities, controlling documentation, and ensuring smooth execution from pickup through delivery and trip closure.Success in This Role Looks LikeMarine transport orders are fulfilled on time with the right truck and driverContainer pickups, deliveries, and empty returns are closely monitoredPort and terminal delays are identified and escalated earlyPODs, EIRs, container numbers, seals, and supporting documents are complete and accurateReliable transport partners are available at competitive ratesDetention and waiting-time exposure is properly documented and controlledCustomers receive accurate and timely shipment updatesResponsibilitiesSource and coordinate outsourced trucks for port, terminal, and container transportation requirementsVerify truck, driver, container, and shipment details before dispatchCoordinate container pickup, gate-in/gate-out, delivery, and empty-container return where applicableMonitor port and terminal milestones and maintain accurate trip-status updatesTrack container numbers, seals, PODs, EIRs, gate records, and other operational documentationCoordinate with drivers, fleet owners, customers, terminals, and relevant logistics stakeholdersMonitor waiting time, detention, delays, truck rejection, and other operational exceptionsNegotiate trip-level supplier rates within approved guidelines and maintain rate competitivenessArrange replacement trucks when breakdowns, cancellations, or operational failures occurEnsure completed trips are fully documented, billing-ready, and closed accurately in the Inqlha systemSupport supplier-performance monitoring and identify reliable capacity for recurring marine operationsEscalate cargo damage, documentation issues, port delays, or other significant service risks promptlyQualificationsBachelor’s degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Maritime Transport, Transportation Management, or a related fieldProfessional logistics certification such as CILT, APICS CLTD, or equivalent is an advantagePort, container operations, customs awareness, or maritime logistics training is highly preferredGood working knowledge of Excel, GPS tracking, TMS, or digital logistics platformsSkillsStrong knowledge of container and port transportation operationsTruck sourcing and outsourced fleet coordinationPort and terminal documentation controlContainer number, seal, POD, and EIR managementTrip monitoring and operational follow-upDetention and waiting-time trackingSupplier negotiation and rate comparisonStrong communication with drivers, customers, and transport partnersProblem-solving and rapid operational escalationHigh attention to detail and strong documentation disciplineAbility to manage multiple active shipments in a fast-paced environmentWhy Join InqlhaJoin a growing digital logistics company transforming transportation operationsWork directly on real marine, container, and port logistics challengesGain exposure to customers, transport partners, terminals, and multiple logistics functionsTake ownership of operations and contribute directly to service quality and growthWork in a fast-moving environment where performance and initiative have visible impactBuild your career in a company combining logistics operations with technology and digital transformation
