The business offers a dynamic environment where employees are encouraged to take ownership, contribute ideas and drive meaningful improvements across the logistics function.Reporting into the logistics leadership team, the Logistics Coordinator will play a critical role in managing the end-to-end movement of goods across the supply chain. This position offers broad exposure to international logistics, sea freight, customs compliance, warehousing and transport operations, making it an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their expertise within a fast-paced global supply chain environment. Key responsibilities:Coordinate end-to-end import and export shipments, including booking, tracking and delivery management across international marketsManage shipping documentation, customs requirements and compliance processes, working closely with freight forwarders, brokers and carriersLiaise with customers, suppliers, distribution centres and logistics partners to resolve queries and provide regular shipment updatesSupport warehouse and transport activities, ensuring inbound and outbound freight movements are executed efficiently and on scheduleMaintain accurate shipment, inventory and invoicing data within ERP (NetSuite) and warehouse management systems, escalating issues and discrepancies where requiredContribute to reporting and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance logistics performance and service levelsWhat makes a successful candidate:Previous experience in a logistics, freight forwarding, shipping or supply chain coordination role, must have exposure to international logistics, ideally within an FMCG environmentStrong understanding of sea freight operations, shipment documentation and customs processes, with knowledge of international trade regulations highly desirableExcellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple shipments, stakeholders and priorities simultaneouslyA proactive, resilient and solutions-focused approach, with the confidence to take ownership and work independentlyStrong communication and relationship-building skills, capable of working effectively with customers, suppliers, freight partners and internal teamsThe company is unfortunately not able to sponsor, candidates must have full permanent right to work in the UK.Sounds like the right role for you?
