Logistics Distribution Sr ManagerPOSITION SUMMARYA Logistics & Supply Chain Manager will oversee the efficient movement of goods, materials, and information across the company’s supply chain network, ensuring timely delivery of products while minimizing costs.The role will focus on optimizing processes and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements while aligning with business goals of efficiency, innovation, and customer satisfaction.MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESLogistics Optimization: Coordinate logistics operations for inbound raw materials and outbound finished products, including optimizing transportation routes and delivery schedules. Ensure compliance with local regulations regarding imports and transportation. Manage third-party logistics (3PL) providers and freight forwarders to improve delivery performance while minimizing costs.Inventory and Warehouse Management: Lead the implementation of advanced inventory control systems to maintain optimal stock levels across regional warehouses. Manage the distribution center operations, ensuring efficient storage, handling, and distribution of products to global customers. Implement robust inventory tracking mechanisms using ERP and warehouse management systems to prevent shortages and overstock situations.Vendor Management: Build and maintain relationships with vendors across local to secure favorable contracts and terms. Regularly evaluate supplier performance to ensure adherence to quality and delivery timelines, making necessary adjustments to vendor portfolios when required. Collaborate closely with the procurement team to ensure a smooth flow of materials into manufacturing sites.Cost Efficiency and Budget Management: Lead cost-reduction initiatives in supply chain operations, identifying opportunities to lower logistics, transportation, and warehousing costs without compromising service levels. Develop and manage the supply chain and logistics budget, ensuring expenditures are aligned with the company's financial objectives.Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with production, sales, and customer service teams to align supply chain operations with market demands and product launch schedules. Act as the liaison between the supply chain team and senior leadership to report on logistics performance and strategic initiatives.Continuous Improvement: Leverage ERP systems and other logistics software to enhance visibility and control across the supply chain.
