Logistics ExecutiveDesignitch is seeking a logistics executive to join our team who will handle logistics (import and export).Job Requirements:Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsProficient computer skills and comfort using softwareA minimum of 3 years Logistics experience and knowledge in GCC import and exportStrong organizational skillsExtreme attention to detailsCan work independentlyPassionate initiative to build and grow the brandDay to Day ResponsibilitiesImport ShipmentsFollowing up with suppliers for order collectionsPlanning the weekly FCL/LCL loading to meet shipping budgetsSend shipment details to logistics companies and negotiate best ratesFollowing up on vessel departure, arrival, clearance and deliveryHandling and organizing shipping documents (hard copies and filing on One Drive)Prepare logistics reports detailing project and delivery statusUpdating shipment information one NetSuiteLiaising with sales team on order updatesExport & Final Deliveries:Managing the order shipments that need to go directly from a supplier to an end client in a different countryPreparing a shipping quotation for international shipmentsPreparing the handover delivery of projects when the goods have arrivedInsurance Claims:Filing and following up with suppliers and shippers on insurance claimsInventory ManagementChecking orders when they arrive to make sure they match purchase order quantities and assisting with stock inventory managementIf interested, please send your CV to tracy.ann@designitch.com with subject "3 years".Applicants with 3 years logistics background will be prioritized.Experience with NetSuite is a plus.
