Logistics Executive

Job Description

Our client, a leading multinational paints and coatings company, is seeking a skilled Logistics Executive to join its regional operations team. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience in international logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain operations, with hands-on expertise in managing end-to-end shipments across multiple transportation modes.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage end-to-end shipments across ocean, road, and air freight. - Handle shipping documentation, customs clearance, and import/export procedures. - Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers, and other logistics partners. - Negotiate freight rates and service agreements to ensure cost-effective transportation. - Monitor shipment schedules, delivery timelines, and ensure timely movement of goods. - Track logistics costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and support cost optimization initiatives. - Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and customs requirements. - Coordinate with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and overseas offices to ensure smooth supply chain operations.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in international logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain operations. - Hands-on experience with ocean, road, and air freight. - Good knowledge of customs clearance, import/export procedures, and shipping documentation. - Experience in freight negotiations and logistics cost optimization. - Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
