Logistics In-Charge | UAE / KSA

Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced and highly organized Logistics In-Charge with strong hands-on logistics experience across the GCC, particularly in the UAE and Saudi Arabia.The successful candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end logistics operations, including local and international transportation, import and export activities, customs clearance, shipping documentation, warehouse coordination, and delivery management.The ideal candidate should have strong practical knowledge of UAE and KSA customs regulations, logistics procedures, import/export requirements, and regulatory compliance. They should be able to manage multiple shipments efficiently while ensuring cost control, documentation accuracy, and timely delivery.Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all logistics activities across the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
• Handle local and international shipments by air, sea, and land.
• Manage import and export procedures, including preparation and review of all required shipping documents.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers, transport companies, courier providers, suppliers, and customers.
• Follow up on customs clearance and ensure timely release of shipments.
• Ensure full compliance with UAE and KSA customs, import/export, transportation, and logistics regulations.
• Prepare and review commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, bills of lading, airway bills, delivery notes, and other shipping documents.
• Track all shipments and provide regular status updates to internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate transportation, delivery schedules, and warehouse movements.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for all logistics transactions.
• Work closely with Procurement, Finance, Sales, Projects, Warehouse, and Operations teams.
• Obtain and compare freight quotations and support negotiations with logistics service providers.
• Monitor logistics and transportation costs and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
• Manage urgent, high-value, and project-related shipments.
• Support customs registrations, permits, approvals, and other regulatory requirements when required.
• Coordinate the movement of machinery, industrial equipment, raw materials, spare parts, and project-related materials.
• Resolve shipment delays, customs issues, incorrect documentation, and other logistics challenges.
• Maintain strong working relationships with logistics providers, customs agents, and relevant external parties.
• Maintain shipment trackers and prepare regular logistics reports for management.
• Ensure that all logistics activities are carried out in accordance with company procedures and applicable local regulations.Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 5–8 years of relevant logistics experience, preferably within the GCC region.
• Strong practical experience in logistics operations in the UAE and/or Saudi Arabia.
• Good knowledge of UAE and KSA customs procedures, import/export regulations, and local compliance requirements.
• Experience working with freight forwarders, customs brokers, shipping companies, courier companies, and transportation providers.
• Experience handling industrial equipment, machinery, spare parts, or project-related shipments is highly preferred.
• Good knowledge of Incoterms and international shipping procedures.
• Strong knowledge of shipping and customs documentation.
• Good negotiation, coordination, and vendor-management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving and follow-up skills.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
• Fluency in English is required; Arabic is an advantage.
