قدّم وتابع مع أبلاي إيدجJob Summary:The Logistics Lead is responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling all logistics activities for Portfolio projects inside KSA. The role ensures the timely and cost-effective movement, receipt, storage, and distribution of construction materials, equipment, tools, and personnel while maintaining compliance with project requirements, company policies, HSE standards, and applicable Saudi regulations.The Logistics Lead will work closely with project management, procurement, engineering, construction teams, subcontractors, suppliers, transporters, and warehouse personnel to ensure uninterrupted project operations.Key Responsibilities:1. Project Logistics PlanningDevelop and implement project-specific logistics plans, procedures, and schedules.Plan logistics requirements in line with project construction schedules and milestones.Coordinate site access, delivery routes, laydown areas, storage facilities, and material flow.Identify potential logistics constraints and develop mitigation plans.Coordinate logistics requirements for multiple work fronts and construction areas.2. Material & Equipment LogisticsCoordinate the delivery, receipt, inspection, storage, and distribution of construction materials and equipment.Ensure materials are delivered to site according to approved schedules and construction priorities.Monitor material movements from suppliers/warehouses to project sites.Coordinate transportation of heavy equipment, machinery, oversized/abnormal loads, and specialized materials.Ensure appropriate handling, preservation, and storage of materials in accordance with manufacturer and project requirements.3. Transportation & Fleet ManagementManage project transportation activities, including trucks, trailers, buses, light vehicles, and heavy equipment transportation.Coordinate daily vehicle and delivery schedules.Monitor fleet utilization, availability, maintenance, and operating costs.Ensure vehicles and drivers meet company, client, and Saudi regulatory requirements.Coordinate permits and requirements for oversized or special-load transportation where applicable.4. Site LogisticsManage site logistics operations, including access control, traffic flow, unloading areas, laydown yards, warehouses, and material staging areas.Coordinate delivery slots and prevent congestion at project sites.Establish safe routes for construction vehicles and equipment.Coordinate logistics during critical activities such as major equipment installation, concrete works, lifting operations, and commissioning.Maintain efficient movement of materials and equipment between warehouses, laydown areas, and work fronts.5. Warehouse & Inventory CoordinationOversee warehouse and laydown-yard logistics activities.Coordinate receiving, issuing, transferring, and tracking of materials.Maintain accurate logistics and inventory records in coordination with warehouse teams.Ensure proper segregation and storage of materials, including hazardous and sensitive items.Support inventory reconciliation and investigation of material discrepancies.6. Subcontractor & Supplier CoordinationCoordinate logistics activities with suppliers, subcontractors, transport companies, and service providers.Monitor supplier and subcontractor delivery performance.Ensure logistics activities comply with project schedules, specifications, and contractual requirements.Resolve delivery delays, transportation issues, shortages, damages, and other logistics-related problems.7. HSE & ComplianceEnsure all logistics activities are carried out in accordance with company and project HSE requirements.Implement safe systems of work for transportation, loading/unloading, material handling, and site movements.Ensure compliance with applicable KSA transportation, road safety, environmental, and labor requirements.Participate in risk assessments, toolbox talks, inspections, and incident investigations related to logistics activities.Promote a strong safety culture among logistics personnel, drivers, and subcontractors.8. Documentation & ReportingMaintain logistics schedules, delivery records, vehicle logs, material movement records, and related documentation.Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly logistics reports.Track logistics KPIs, including delivery performance, fleet utilization, transportation costs, and delays.Provide regular updates to project management regarding logistics risks, constraints, and performance.Maintain appropriate records for audits and client requirements.9. Cost & Performance ManagementMonitor logistics expenditure and identify opportunities for cost reduction.Optimize transportation routes, vehicle utilization, storage capacity, and manpower requirements.Monitor logistics contractor performance against agreed KPIs.Support procurement and project teams in evaluating transportation and logistics service providers.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.7–12 years of relevant logistics experience, preferably within construction, infrastructure, EPC, industrial, or large-scale projects.Proven experience managing logistics operations for construction projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.Experience with heavy equipment, construction materials, transportation, warehousing, and site logistics.Strong knowledge of logistics planning and project execution.Skills & Competencies:Strong leadership and team-management skills.Excellent planning, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.Good knowledge of construction site logistics and material flow.Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.Strong knowledge of HSE requirements related to logistics and transportation.Good commercial and cost-control awareness.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; knowledge of ERP/SAP or logistics management systems is an advantage.Ability to prepare professional reports and logistics schedules.Preferred Experience:Experience with major construction, infrastructure, industrial, or EPC projects.Experience managing logistics for remote or large-scale project sites.Experience with heavy/abnormal-load transportation.Knowledge of KSA logistics, transportation, customs, and permitting processes.Knowledge of international logistics and import/export processes is an advantage.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):On-time delivery percentage.Material and equipment availability at work fronts.Transportation and logistics cost efficiency.Fleet utilization.Logistics-related construction delays.Number of logistics-related HSE incidents.Supplier/subcontractor delivery performance.Compliance with project logistics procedures and schedules.Working Conditions:Primarily project/site based.May require working extended hours, weekends, or shifts depending on project requirements.Regular coordination with suppliers, subcontractors, warehouses, transporters, and project teams.Frequent movement within construction sites and logistics/laydown areas.Employment Requirements – KSAValid authorization to work in Saudi Arabia.Valid Saudi/Iqama documentation as applicable.Valid driving license where required by the position.
