Logistics Manager

Role DescriptionWe are looking for a highly organized and results-driven Logistics Manager to oversee and optimize logistics operations, ensuring the efficient movement, storage, and delivery of goods. The role involves coordinating transportation, warehousing, distribution, shipment planning, and logistics service providers while maintaining high standards of cost efficiency, accuracy, and customer service.You will work closely with supply chain, procurement, warehouse, sales, finance, and other internal teams to coordinate logistics activities and ensure timely order fulfillment. Responsibilities include planning transportation and delivery schedules, monitoring shipment status, managing logistics partners, optimizing routes and resources, controlling logistics costs, and resolving delivery or operational issues.The Logistics Manager will also monitor key performance indicators, improve logistics processes, ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures, and identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency. Strong leadership, problem-solving, analytical, and coordination skills are essential for managing a reliable and responsive logistics operation.QualificationsBachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transportation, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.Strong understanding of logistics operations, transportation management, warehousing, distribution, and order fulfillment processes.Ability to plan and coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, delivery schedules, transportation resources, and logistics activities.Knowledge of freight management, shipment documentation, inventory movement, and logistics cost control.Strong ability to coordinate with logistics service providers, carriers, warehouses, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify operational risks and implement effective solutions.Ability to monitor logistics performance indicators and identify opportunities for process and cost improvements.Familiarity with ERP systems, transportation management systems, warehouse management systems, and Microsoft Office applications.Good understanding of safety, compliance, and operational procedures related to logistics and transportation.Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and negotiation skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively to changing operational requirements.Proactive, accountable, and results-oriented mindset with a strong focus on efficiency and service quality.High level of attention to detail and commitment to operational accuracy and continuous improvement.
