Apply & track with Apply EdgeWe are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to oversee the company’s import, export, and domestic transportation operations, ensuring efficient, timely, and cost-effective execution in support of approved production and sales objectives. The role will be responsible for managing logistics operations, ensuring compliance with local and international customs and government regulations, developing the logistics team, and maintaining effective coordination with internal departments and external authorities.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, train, and improve the capabilities and performance of the Logistics team.Develop and implement plans and strategies to achieve the approved objectives of the Logistics Department.Monitor updates, regulations, and instructions issued by customs authorities at customs ports regarding shipping and logistics activities.Oversee import procedures with Logistics Supervisors and Coordinators to ensure required products are imported on time and prevent delays to production.Oversee export operations to branches worldwide to support targeted sales objectives.Monitor import and export costs against approved budgets and take timely corrective actions to control and reduce expenses.Continuously monitor the execution of domestic shipping orders from the main warehouse to subsidiary warehouses.Coordinate and follow up daily with relevant internal departments regarding shipping and logistics activities to ensure business requirements are met.Ensure all customs clearance documents, invoices, shipping documents, and other relevant records are properly collected, organized, documented, and archived for import, export, and domestic shipments.Review reports related to import, export, and domestic shipments and prepare periodic reports, including quarterly and annual reports, for management.Ensure company products are registered on relevant government platforms and with external authorities in accordance with the requirements of each country.Perform any other duties within the scope of the role as assigned by executive management.
Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.Minimum of 8–10 years of experience in logistics, shipping, import, and export operations.Practical experience dealing with customs authorities, customs ports, and relevant government agencies.Strong experience in managing import, export, and domestic transportation operations.Experience monitoring logistics costs and controlling operational expenses.Strong team leadership, coordination, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.Knowledge of customs clearance procedures and applicable local and international regulations.
