Logistics Manager

[Scope]This position will be in charge of the overall logistics function in Korea by overseeing and liaising with HQ to ensure the efficient maintenance and effective movement of stock.[Key Accountabilities]- Organize all shipments in line with business requirements.- Ensure the integrity of import/export documentation (i.e., Bills of Lading & Commercial invoices).- Prepare import documentation and custom clearance for all air and sea shipments.- Plan and maintain delivery schedules and communicate to all relevant departments.- Manage stock-take at the warehouse and stores.- Work closely with other departments, especially Operations, Retail, Merchandising, and Finance.- Work closely with forwarders and the warehouse, and give delivery instructions for shipping materials- Review shipping dates and report in case of any exceptions.- Manage vendor negotiations for service agreements. Evaluate vendor performance and take corrective action when required.- Prepare a budget and re-estimation for logistics cost, and monitor actual cost based on the budget- In charge of the inventory system (S.T.A.R.T).- Input invoice value and allocated landed costs into the inventory system.- Maintain inventory master files for both intercompany and 3rd party import.- Prepare and manage payments to counterparties (mainly for intercompany, customs brokers, and DHL).- Support other departments for new store opening and events.- Optimize inventory management and give guidelines to related departments and stores.[Qualifications]- Relevant experience in Logistics, preferably in the retail industry- Good analytical skills, problem-solving, and decision-making skills- Collaborative, hardworking, enthusiastic, and independent attitude- Excellent in MS Office applications
