With strong retail partnerships and an expanding direct-to-consumer presence, the business is entering an exciting period of growth.The Operations team is small, hands-on and highly collaborative, meaning this is a role where your work will have genuine visibility and impact across the wider business.The OpportunityThis is a broad, hands-on Logistics Manager role for someone who enjoys taking ownership and being at the heart of day-to-day operations. You will oversee the journey of wholesale orders from receipt through to invoice, alongside managing the freight and warehouse activity that supports customer demand.Working across the UK, US and Europe, you will be responsible for ensuring orders are processed accurately and delivered on time, while managing relationships with third-party logistics partners, supporting new product launches and resolving operational issues as they arise.This is not a role where you will simply be managing processes from a distance. You will be expected to roll up your sleeves, investigate issues, work closely with internal teams and external partners, and continually look for ways to improve how the operation works as the business scales.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn the end-to-end order management process across wholesale accounts, from order receipt through to invoiceManage both EDI and manual order flows, ensuring purchase orders are accurately processed within retailer deadlinesMonitor order accuracy and proactively identify opportunities to improve processes and automationManage retailer compliance requirements, including routing, appointments, vendor portals and order performanceMonitor retailer scorecards and investigate the root causes of any service issues or deductionsManage deduction and credit memo disputes, working with relevant internal and external stakeholders to resolve issuesSupport the onboarding of new retail partners, including item setup, labelling, routing requirements and first-order readinessOwn freight quotations and bookings for componentry and finished goods across suppliers, fillers and warehousesPrepare and check relevant shipping documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists and certificates of originTrack inbound shipments against required dates and escalate any delays that could impact customer orders or launchesManage day-to-day relationships with third-party logistics providers across the UK and USMonitor warehouse performance against fulfilment SLAs and feed service and cost data into the wider Operations functionAct as a key point of contact for retailer and customer queries, ensuring issues are routed and resolved efficientlySupport commercial, digital and brand teams with launches, promotions and sampling activityCoordinate fulfilment requirements across marketplace and direct-to-consumer channelsContribute to wider operational projects and process improvements as the business continues to growIdeal Background3+ years' experience in logistics coordination, order management, customer service or a similar operational roleExperience within FMCG, beauty, consumer goods or another fast-paced product-led environmentExperience supplying major retailers, ideally across both the UK and USDirect experience with EDI and retailer vendor requirements would be highly advantageousComfortable working with ERP/IMS systems and retailer portalsStrong Excel or Google Sheets skillsHighly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple orders, deadlines and stakeholders simultaneouslyNaturally investigative, with the ability to trace operational issues back to their root causeExperience working with 3PLs and/or freight providers would be advantageousExposure to freight documentation, customs or international logistics would be a plusComfortable working in a fast-paced, growing business where priorities can change quicklyWhy JoinThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-growth beauty business at an exciting stage of its expansion.
