Employment Type: Full-timePosition OverviewThe Head of Logistics will lead, scale, and optimize Al Saif’s overall logistics vertical across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

This executive leadership role balances operational transformation with aggressive commercial expansion.The mandate covers three critical pillars: maximizing the performance and asset utilization of existing depots and container/transport terminals in Jeddah, Dammam, and Jubail; establishing a high-margin Third-Party Logistics (3PL) contract warehousing business leveraging existing group real estate assets; and scaling end-to-end freight forwarding and customs brokerage capabilities.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic & Commercial GrowthFormulate and execute the medium-to-long-term strategic business plan for the Group’s logistics vertical to achieve revenue, margin, and market share targets.Build a profitable pipeline of enterprise clients across key KSA industries (industrial, FMCG, retail, manufacturing, oil & gas).Position Al Saif as an integrated, multi-modal supply chain partner by cross-selling terminal handling, warehousing, customs clearance, and freight forwarding.Full P&L responsibility: direct budget allocation, capital expenditure (CapEx) investments, pricing frameworks, and profitability analysis across all business units.Depots & Terminals Optimization (Jeddah, Dammam, Jubail)Oversee multi-site operations across Jeddah, Dammam, and Jubail, driving terminal throughput, asset turns, and equipment availability (reach stackers, transport fleets, handling gear).Establish strict operational KPIs, including dwell times, gate turnarounds, fleet utilization, and safety compliance.Implement preventative maintenance schedules and digital asset-tracking systems to reduce operating costs and downtime.3PL Warehousing ExpansionCommercialize and convert prime Group real estate holdings into modern, certified, multi-client and dedicated 3PL warehousing facilities.Design facility layouts, optimize storage density (racking, mezzanine, staging), and select/implement modern Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).Introduce value-added warehouse services (kitting, repackaging, labeling, reverse logistics, cross-docking) to lift contract yields.Freight Forwarding & Customs BrokerageExpand international freight forwarding capabilities across sea freight (FCL/LCL), air cargo, and cross-border land transport.Scale licensed customs clearance operations at key sea, air, and land ports across the Kingdom, ensuring high compliance with ZATCA and Saudi customs regulations.Build strategic relationships with ocean carriers, airlines, port authorities, and overseas agency networks to secure competitive allocation and rate structures.Operational Excellence & LeadershipSpearhead technology adoption, integrating WMS, TMS (Transport Management System), and ERP solutions to deliver real-time supply chain visibility to clients.Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing logistics team encompassing operations, business development, clearance specialists, and station managers.Enforce rigorous health, safety, security, and environment (HSSE) standards across all facilities, yards, and active transport fleets.Candidate Profile & QualificationsExperience: Minimum 12–15+ years of progressive leadership experience in logistics, supply chain, and terminal/3PL management, with at least 5 years operating at a General Manager, VP, or Business Unit Head level within Saudi Arabia.Track Record: Proven success scaling a P&L, taking empty warehouse space or under-utilized yard assets to commercial viability, and building sustained revenue streams.Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Saudi market landscape, Vision 2030 National Industrial Development and Logistics Program (NIDLP) initiatives, ZATCA clearance guidelines, port concessions, and local road transport regulations (TGA).Leadership Style: Hands-on operator capable of stepping onto depot asphalt while simultaneously presenting commercial growth strategies and capital proposals at the board level.Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related discipline; an MBA or executive master's is preferred.Language: Fluency in English is mandatory; bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English is strongly preferred.
