Logistics Officer

Job Purpose:Support daily transportation operations and Control Tower activities by monitoring shipments, coordinating with drivers and transporters, tracking delivery performance, and ensuring timely movement of goods.Key Responsibilities* Monitor daily transportation and delivery operations through the Control Tower.* Track trucks, shipments, and delivery status.* Coordinate with drivers, transporters, customers, and internal teams.* Follow up on delayed shipments and resolve operational issues.* Update shipment status and transportation records in the system.* Monitor vehicle movement, loading, unloading, and delivery schedules.* Prepare daily transportation and delivery reports.* Report delays, accidents, vehicle breakdowns, or other operational issues.* Support route planning and truck allocation when required.* Ensure Proof of Delivery (POD) and transportation documents are collected and properly maintained.* Monitor transporter and driver performance against agreed KPIs.* Support the team in improving on-time delivery and transportation efficiency.* Follow company safety and transportation procedures.Requirements* Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.* 1–3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, fleet operations, or Control Tower operations preferred.* Good communication and coordination skills.* Basic knowledge of transportation and logistics operations.* Good Microsoft Excel skills.* Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment.* Willingness to work shifts if required.
