Logistics Operations Leader

We support our customers to grow their businesses with the B2B and B2C logistics services we offer in our warehouses.What You’ll DoManage and coordinate day-to-day warehouse and logistics operations to ensure efficient and high-quality execution,Lead, manage and develop the operational team, ensuring effective workforce planning and team performance,Monitor operational processes, identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities, and lead continuous improvement initiatives,Identify system-related development needs, document requirements, coordinate testing processes and follow implementation,Monitor operational KPIs and ensure regular reporting in line with agreed targets and customer requirements,Manage customer requests, operational issues and improvement actions with a customer-oriented approach,Coordinate with internal departments to ensure effective execution of operational and project-related processes,Identify training and development needs of the team and ensure necessary training activities are delivered,Prepare and follow operational work plans during new project implementations and support project launches,Take an active role in identifying and resolving operational problems in cooperation with relevant departments,Support cost studies, invoicing processes and operational financial follow-up for assigned projects,Increase team motivation, guide employees and actively support problem-solving processes,Ensure operations are carried out in compliance with Quality, Information Security, Occupational Health & Safety and Environmental Management System requirements,Identify operational risks and opportunities and ensure necessary corrective and improvement actions are taken.Your ProfileAssociate’s or Bachelor’s degree from a related field,Minimum 4 years of experience in logistics and warehouse operations, preferably within e-commerce operations,Experience in managing and developing operational/warehouse teams,Good knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and warehouse processes,Good command of MS Office applications,English knowledge is preferred,Strong analytical thinking, process analysis and problem-solving skills,Strong planning, organization and time management skills,Ability to monitor team performance and ensure timely and effective execution of operational activities,Strong communication and collaboration skills,Customer and result-oriented mindset,Proactive, adaptable and open to change,Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced operational environment,Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, guide and develop team members,Ability to lead continuous improvement and change initiatives.What We OfferA global work environment with exposure to international projects and teamsOpportunities for professional growth, learning, and career developmentA collaborative and supportive team cultureBeing part of Bertelsmann SE & Co.
