Job SummaryThe Logistics Specialist is responsible for supporting and coordinating day-to-day logistics and supply chain activities, including shipment follow-up, supplier coordination, inventory management, internal communication, and operational continuity. The role ensures that logistics activities are completed accurately, efficiently, and on time while maintaining effective coordination with internal departments, suppliers, and other relevant stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor and follow up on incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure timely delivery.Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and relevant service providers regarding shipment status and documentation.Follow up on purchase orders and delivery schedules and report any delays or issues.Maintain accurate records of shipments, deliveries, and logistics-related documentation.Monitor inventory levels and support stock availability requirements.Conduct and support periodic and annual physical inventory counts.Investigate inventory discrepancies and coordinate with relevant departments to resolve them.Ensure inventory transactions and records are accurately updated in the system.Coordinate with Procurement, Warehouse, Finance, Sales, and other departments to support logistics operations.Communicate shipment, stock, and delivery updates to relevant internal stakeholders.Support the smooth flow of goods and materials between suppliers, warehouses, and internal departments.Provide operational coverage for logistics-related activities when required to ensure business continuity.Support daily logistics and supply chain operational activities.Prepare logistics, inventory, and shipment reports as required.Identify operational issues and escalate them to the responsible manager when necessary.Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to logistics and inventory management.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in logistics, supply chain, inventory management, warehouse operations, or a related field.Good knowledge of inventory management and supply chain systems.Experience with Oracle or Oracle NetSuite is highly preferred.Skills & CompetenciesVery good English communication skills, both written and spoken.Good knowledge of logistics and supply chain operations.Good understanding of inventory management and stock control.Strong coordination and follow-up skills.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Good organizational and time-management skills.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.Good problem-solving skills.Ability to work effectively with internal departments and external suppliers.Good Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
