We are seeking a Loss Prevention Officer to monitor, authorize the entrance and departure of employees and visitors. Maintain security, safety of premises, and protect property.Duties And ResponsibilitiesMonitor and authorize the entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain the security/safety of premisesCirculate among visitors, patrons, and employees to preserve order and protect propertyGuard, patrol, and monitor industrial or commercial premises to prevent safety hazards, theft, violence, or infractions of rulesEnforce rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and respond to emergency situations requiring security assistanceWrite detailed narrative reports and maintain daily activity reports (DARs)Assist customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional mannerMonitor for irregular or unusual activitySecure facility and designated areasEnforce facility and company policies and proceduresInvestigate and prepare reports on incidentsThis job posting outlines the key responsibilities and requirements of the position and is not intended to be all-inclusive. BenefitsExpected pay scale $19.80 - $20.20Bergen Logistics, in good faith, has assessed this posted range of compensation as the accurate range for this role and location at the time of this posting.
