Assistant Manager Bar, Lounge & Casual DiningCentral London5 days out of 7 | Variable shiftsSalary: £37,000 + bonus up to £6,000–£7,000Good conversational French is essentialWe’re looking for a confident, hands-on Assistant Manager to help lead a stylish customer lounge offering a blend of bar service, casual dining within an international travel setting.This is an ideal opportunity for someone from a bar, restaurant, lounge, or casual dining background who thrives on the floor, leads from the front, and knows how to create a great atmosphere while maintaining exceptional standards.Working alongside the Lounge Manager, you’ll play a key role in delivering a seamless and engaging guest experience. You’ll be a visible hands-on leader on shift, setting the tone for service, supporting your team, and ensuring every guest interaction reflects quality and professionalism.Key responsibilities:Lead and coordinate day-to-day lounge, bar, and dining operationsInspire, coach, and develop your team to perform at their bestDeliver warm, attentive, and personalised customer serviceDrive service flow during busy, high-footfall periodsHandle guest feedback and resolve issues quickly and effectivelyEnsure compliance with all operational, safety, and brand standardsAbout YouYou’re an experienced hospitality professional who enjoys being on the floor and takes pride in both service and team leadership.Experience in bar, lounge, restaurant, hotel, casual dining fast paced environmentsPrevious role as a Supervisor, Assistant Manager, or ManagerA confident leader with strong people development and coaching skillsComfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume settingExcellent attention to detail and organisational skillsEssential Compliance Requirements (Non-Negotiable)Good conversational French is essential.Must be eligible to pass a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.Must be able to provide a full 5-year continuous UK work history.
