Job TitleLPG Marketing Implementer – East & Southern AfricaReports ToLPG General Manager – East & Southern Africa (functional reporting to the Head of Marketing, Kenya)DepartmentLPG – MarketingLocationNairobi, Kenya (with regional travel across East and Southern Africa)JOB PURPOSEOur client is a leading Oil Marketing Company operating across East and Southern Africa, commercializing LPG in cylinders under recognized consumer brands to domestic customers through a network of distributors, retail stations and points of sale, and in bulk to a wide range of commercial and industrial customers. Their LPG activities form part of a newly established regional LPG business line spanning more than ten countries, with a mandate to grow the LPG business sustainably and profitably across the region.They seek to recruit an LPG Marketing Implementer to plan, coordinate, and support the execution of marketing initiatives that grow the LPG business across segments: Retail, Commercial & Industrial, and Distributor channels across the East and Southern Africa geographies, working in close collaboration with local Sales and Marketing teams. The role ensures consistent brand execution across markets, supports product launches and promotional campaigns, manages marketing materials, and works closely with affiliate Marketing, Sales and Operations teams as well as external agencies to drive customer acquisition, brand visibility, and market share growth.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES1. Brand Management Ensure consistent implementation of local brand standards across all LPG touchpoints, in close collaboration with local Marketing teams who own the brand guidelines. Coordinate the branding of distributor and dealer signage across the network.2. Marketing Campaigns Coordinate national (East Africa) and regional marketing campaigns as and when required. Design and implement communication for the client’s regional clean cooking agenda, including all supporting material. Coordinate digital, radio, print, outdoor, and below-the-line marketing activities within East Africa. Monitor campaign performance and prepare post-campaign evaluations.3. Trade Marketing Develop trade marketing programmes for distributors and dealers within East Africa. Develop promotional toolkits for distributors and dealers. Support dealer activations, roadshows, exhibitions, and customer events.4. Marketing Operations Manage marketing calendars and campaign schedules. Coordinate suppliers, printers, branding contractors, and advertising agencies. Track marketing budgets and expenditure against plan.5. Market Intelligence & Customer Insights Monitor LPG market trends across the East and Southern Africa region. Conduct customer satisfaction surveys and translate findings into actionable recommendations. Monitor competitor activity, positioning, and promotional response across the region.6. Digital Marketing Support Coordinate LPG-related content for social media platforms. Update website content relating to LPG products and offers. Monitor online customer engagement and respond to emerging trends.7. Events & Activations Coordinate exhibitions, trade fairs, dealer conferences, and product demonstrations. Organize customer appreciation events. Support community engagement and CSR activities.8. Sales Support Develop brochures, flyers, presentations, and sales kits for use across the region. Develop tools and analysis for sales teams, including points-of-sale mapping and distributor performance assessment tools.9. A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a marketing role. Experience within the oil and gas industry or the FMCG sector is a distinct advantage. Demonstrated experience coordinating marketing campaigns across multiple markets or geographies is an advantage. Strong relationship management and communication skills. Strong business acumen and commercial awareness. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook), social media platforms, and AI tools. Willingness and ability to travel across assigned counties and countries within East and Southern Africa.
