Luxury Hotel/Resort experienced Director of Finance (must have international experience) – based in KenyaAn exceptional opportunity has arisen for an accomplished Director of Finance to join a prestigious luxury resort in Kenya, part of a highly respected international hospitality group with a portfolio of outstanding luxury properties worldwide.Reporting to the General Manager and working closely with senior group and property leadership, the Director of Finance will provide strategic financial leadership across the resort, overseeing financial control, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash management, compliance, commercial analysis, and the development of the finance team.This is a senior appointment within a globally recognized luxury hospitality organization and represents an opportunity to play a significant role in the financial and commercial leadership of an exceptional resort operation in Kenya.The ProfileWe are seeking a seasoned international hotel finance professional with a strong track record in luxury or upper-upscale hospitality.The successful candidate will have:Significant senior finance experience within international hotel groups.International work experience — essential.Previous experience in luxury hotels or resorts.Strong professional finance qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent.Excellent understanding of hotel finance, financial controls, budgeting, forecasting, and commercial performance.Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with a General Manager and Executive Committee.Strong leadership capability and experience developing high-performing finance teams.Exceptional integrity, commercial acumen, analytical ability, and attention to detail.East Africa experience strongly preferred, particularly Kenya or the wider Sub-Saharan African luxury-hospitality market.Compensation: A competitive expat compensation package will be offered, commensurate with the successful candidate’s experience, qualifications, and overall strengths.Applications are invited from suitably qualified international hospitality finance professionals who meet the above criteria.
