M&A Analyst / Associate – Technology

A leading independent corporate finance advisory firm is looking to strengthen its Paris team with an M&A Analyst and Associate focused on the Technology sector.The firm advises entrepreneurs, shareholders, corporates and financial investors on a broad range of strategic and transactional situations, including buy-side and sell-side M&A, strategic acquisitions, disposals and capital raising.The successful candidate will join a lean, high-performing team and work on transactions involving businesses across the Technology sector, with exposure to areas such as software, digital services, technology-enabled businesses and other innovative technology companies.Key ResponsibilitiesSupporting the execution of M&A transactions from origination through to closingPreparing financial analyses, valuation models and transaction materialsBuilding and reviewing financial models, including DCF, trading and transaction multiples and LBO analysesPreparing pitch books, teasers, information memoranda and management presentationsConducting company, industry and market researchIdentifying and screening potential acquisition targets and buyersSupporting due diligence processes and coordinating with legal, tax, accounting and other external advisersParticipating in client meetings and interactions with senior managementAssisting senior team members with business development and preparation of marketing materials
