Machine Learning Engineer / AI Engineer

📌 About the roleWe are looking for a Machine Learning Engineer / AI Engineer to join an international team working on Machine Learning, NLP and Generative AI solutions.You will be part of a small squad of 5–6 people working across different AI projects, including solutions such as GenAI-powered assistants and chatbots.This is a highly hands-on role: more than 90% of your time will be focused on coding, developing ML solutions and designing technical solutions, working closely with other Machine Learning and Engineering profiles.We are looking for someone with a strong Python and Machine Learning engineering background, ideally with experience taking AI/ML solutions into production.What you'll doDevelop and implement Machine Learning and AI solutions using Python.Work on NLP, Generative AI and/or LLM-based projects.Design and develop ML solutions from experimentation through to production.Work with data processing and ML libraries such as pandas, scikit-learn and PyTorch.Evaluate ML models and systems using appropriate performance metrics.Contribute to production-ready code following Git, Pull Request and code review practices.Collaborate with Machine Learning Engineers and other technical profiles to move models and solutions into production.Participate in the design of technical solutions and end-to-end ML pipelines.Explore and evaluate new approaches and technologies in AI/ML.Work in an international environment where English is the main language of communication.Must Have3–5 years of professional experience in Machine Learning, AI Engineering, Data Science or Software Engineering with a recent transition into AI/ML.Strong Python programming skills and experience developing structured, maintainable code.Hands-on experience with Machine Learning models and libraries, such as scikit-learn, PyTorch or similar.Experience working with NLP, Generative AI or LLM technologies.Experience developing production-ready ML/AI solutions or working closely with teams responsible for productionizing models.Understanding of ML concepts such as model training, evaluation, data augmentation, bias and training pipelines.Experience working with Git and collaborative development practices, such as Pull Requests and code reviews.Strong understanding of ML evaluation metrics beyond accuracy.Advanced English (C1/C2) and strong communication skills.Hybrid model📍 Barcelona 🏢 2 days per week in the office🌍 Why join this project?🤝 People first – diverse and inclusive culture in an international environment.📊 Work on high-impact Data & Insights initiatives across business performance, operations, finance, and commercial domains.🚀 Help shape how data supports strategic decision-making across a large international organisation.🧠 Explore the evolution of AI-driven analytics, productivity tools, and data discoverability.⚙️ Contribute to self-service analytics, data products, and scalable reporting practices.📈 Work closely with business and senior stakeholders, turning complex data into meaningful insights.😁 High team stability and collaborative culture.🎓 €1200 per year training budget and continuous learning opportunities.💰 Flexible compensation model.🩺 Private health insurance and benefits package.⚡ Flexible working hours and hybrid model.🏋️ Wellhub: fitness, wellness, and mental health support.⚽ Football and paddle tennis teams sponsored by Capitole.🥳 Team buildings, global events, and strong tech communities.✨ Want to know more about us?
