Senior Machine Learning Engineer (GenAI & MLOps)Location: West Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid)Compensation: $200,000 - $215,000 Base Salary + BonusOverview:We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our growing AI team and help build next-generation machine learning and Generative AI solutions. This role will focus on designing, deploying, and scaling production-grade ML systems, with a strong emphasis on MLOps, LLM-powered applications, semantic search, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and cloud-native AI infrastructure.The ideal candidate has successfully delivered end-to-end AI products from concept to production and possesses deep expertise in modern ML engineering practices, Databricks, Azure, and Generative AI technologies.Responsibilities: Design, build, deploy, and maintain scalable machine learning and Generative AI solutions in production environments. Own the end-to-end MLOps lifecycle, including model development, deployment, monitoring, retraining, and optimization. Develop and deploy Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) applications, semantic search platforms, and conversational AI systems.Build and optimize LLM-powered solutions utilizing prompt engineering, embeddings, vector search, fine-tuning, and agent-based architectures.Establish CI/CD pipelines and model governance processes for machine learning workloads.Implement model serving infrastructure with a focus on scalability, reliability, latency optimization, and observability.Partner with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to translate AI opportunities into production-ready solutions.Develop real-time AI applications leveraging cloud-native services and event-driven architectures.Drive best practices around ML platform engineering, experimentation, model versioning, and A/B testing.Required Qualifications5+ years of experience developing and deploying machine learning solutions in production environments.Strong hands-on experience with MLOps frameworks and best practices.
