Apply & track with Apply EdgeAn innovative HealthTech DeepTech startup pioneering an AI and Deep Learning-driven ultrasound platform designed to transform medical imaging and empower real-time clinical decision-making.Founded by five serial entrepreneurs with proven exit track records across technology and medical domains, the company offers an exceptional opportunity to shape foundational, lifesaving AI technology from its early growth phases.The engineering and research culture pairs cutting-edge deep learning experimentation with rigorous clinical product translation, operating in close collaboration with executive leadership.Role DescriptionServing as a Lead / Senior Deep Learning & Algorithms Engineer, reporting directly to the CTO and driving the company’s core artificial intelligence research and development.Architecting, researching, and implementing state-of-the-art Deep Learning algorithms for 2D and 3D ultrasound image reconstruction, enhancement, and volumetric analysis.Leading algorithm initiatives across the entire lifecycle: from clinical problem formulation and mathematical modeling through to deep network training, validation, and production integration into a regulated medical device.Developing innovative computer vision architectures tailored for low-latency, real-time medical imaging pipelines.Collaborating closely with clinical specialists, systems engineers, and software teams to translate clinical needs into robust, high-precision algorithmic solutions.Requirements-M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline – Mandatory5+ years of hands-on algorithm development experience with a proven track record in Deep Learning – MandatoryProven background and hands-on expertise in 3D image processing, volumetric analysis, or 3D reconstruction – MandatoryExtensive practical experience with modern Deep Learning and AI frameworks (such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, etc.) – MandatoryProven hands-on programming experience in C++ – Significant AdvantagePrior domain experience in medical imaging modalities (specifically Ultrasound, CT, or MRI) – Significant AdvantageStrong mathematical foundations in signal processing, linear algebra, and computer vision – Mandatory
