Location: Porto, Portugal (Hybrid | 2 days per week in the office)Compensation:€[2000-2400] monthly net pay | 14 payments per yearAbout this role: Design, implement and maintain the full machine learning lifecycle, from data preparation and feature engineering through model training, deployment, retraining and MLOps-based operation of research-ready and production-ready AI solutions.Main responsibilities:Design, implement and maintain the full machine learning lifecycle, including data preparation, feature engineering, model training, deployment and retraining;Train and refine state-of-the-art AI models with business potential, supporting proof-of-concept and proof-of-value initiatives using modern AI frameworks;Collaborate closely with Data Scientists and Data Engineers to define technical requirements for AI solutions with strategic business impact;Develop, operate and continuously improve AI solutions in line with DevOps and MLOps principles, while promoting knowledge sharing across the data community.

Requirements

Must-have:3-5 years of proven experience in Machine Learning or related AI engineering roles;Strong programming skills in Python or similar languages for Machine Learning development;Experience with Machine Learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch or Scikit-learn;Strong knowledge of data processing, feature engineering and the end-to-end machine learning lifecycle;Experience with model deployment, APIs, retraining and MLOps practices;Familiarity with cloud-based AI platforms such as Azure ML, Snowflake and DBT, plus working knowledge of SQL and data pipelines;Fluency in English.Nice-to-have:Experience developing proof-of-concept and proof-of-value AI solutions;Experience collaborating closely with Data Scientists and Data Engineers;Knowledge-sharing or technical handover experience within data or AI communities;Experience working with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and/or Kanban.Excited to make an impact?Send your CV to hunting@gbtsolutions.pt.Equal opportunity: GBT Solutions is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity.
