About the JobRole DescriptionA Machine Maintenance Worker is responsible for supporting the inspection, maintenance, adjustment, and repair of machinery and production equipment in industrial, manufacturing, warehouse, and workshop environments. The role helps ensure that machines operate safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime.The position is suitable for candidates with practical mechanical experience, technical training, or hands-on experience working with industrial machinery. Previous experience in machine maintenance or manufacturing environments is an advantage.Key ResponsibilitiesInspect machinery and production equipment to identify signs of wear, damage, or malfunction.Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs on machines and equipment.Assist maintenance technicians with mechanical servicing and repair activities.Lubricate moving parts, bearings, gears, chains, and other machine components.Replace worn or damaged mechanical components when required.Check belts, chains, bearings, gears, shafts, motors, pumps, and other machine parts.Assist with machine alignment, adjustment, and basic mechanical calibration.Monitor machinery during operation and report unusual noise, vibration, overheating, or performance issues.Carry out preventive maintenance tasks according to established schedules.Assist with troubleshooting equipment breakdowns and mechanical faults.Use hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and maintenance equipment safely.Maintain maintenance tools and equipment in good working condition.Keep machinery, workshops, and maintenance areas clean and organized.Record maintenance activities, equipment faults, repairs, and replacement parts.Report major equipment problems and safety concerns to the maintenance supervisor.Assist with installing, moving, assembling, and dismantling machinery when required.Follow equipment manuals, maintenance procedures, and workplace safety requirements.Follow lockout/tagout and machine isolation procedures when applicable.Wear appropriate personal protective equipment while performing maintenance work.Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to minimize equipment downtime.Perform other machine maintenance and technical support duties as assigned.RequirementsHigh school diploma, technical certificate, or equivalent qualification.Previous experience in machine maintenance, mechanical work, manufacturing, or industrial environments is an advantage.Basic knowledge of mechanical machinery and equipment.Familiarity with common hand tools and power tools.Basic understanding of bearings, belts, chains, gears, pumps, and mechanical components.Ability to identify basic mechanical faults and equipment abnormalities.Good problem-solving and practical troubleshooting skills.Strong attention to safety and detail.Physically fit and able to perform maintenance work, including lifting and working in different positions.Ability to work in industrial and workshop environments.Ability to work shifts, weekends, or overtime when required.Good teamwork and communication skills.What We OfferCompetitive salary based on experience and qualifications.On-the-job technical training and practical maintenance experience.Opportunity to develop mechanical and industrial maintenance skills.Professional and safety-focused working environment.Career development and advancement opportunities.Employment benefits in accordance with UAE labour regulations.
