Machine Operator

Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join the production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and adjusting CNC and manual machining equipment to manufacture precision components according to engineering drawings, work instructions, and specified tolerances.Key ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate CNC machining centers, manual lathes, and milling machines.Adjust tool and fixture offsets to ensure components meet specified dimensions and tolerances.Read and interpret engineering drawings, product specifications, and work instructions.Follow production orders and accurately record task and operation times.Inspect machined components using precision measuring instruments to ensure compliance with engineering requirements.Use micrometers, gauge pins, thread gauges, digital and analog indicators, surface plates, calipers, and other inspection tools.Maintain cleanliness and perform routine servicing of machines and work areas.Follow production procedures, quality standards, and workplace safety requirements.Perform other duties and production-related tasks as assigned.Requirements and Qualifications2–5 years of machining experience in a medium- to high-volume production environment.Hands-on experience setting up, operating, and adjusting both manual and CNC lathes.Experience operating milling machines and CNC machining centers.Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments to inspect machined components.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, production instructions, bills of materials (BOMs), and production orders.Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality components.Good verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.Reliable, self-motivated, professional, and able to work under pressure while maintaining a positive working environment.
