Machine Operator

Role Description This full-time Machine Operator role is based at Faham’s factory in Dubai. The Machine Operator will set up, operate, and monitor woodworking and production machinery used in the manufacturing of doors, closets, and furniture components. Responsibilities include reading and following work orders, adjusting machine settings, loading materials, and ensuring finished products meet defined specifications and safety standards. The role involves routine inspection and basic maintenance of machines, proper use of hand tools, and reporting any equipment issues or production delays. The Machine Operator will work closely with the production and quality teams to maintain efficient workflow, minimize waste, and uphold Faham’s quality and safety guidelines.QualificationsCandidates should possess skills in machine operation and working with production machinery in a manufacturing environment.Candidates should possess skills in quality control, including visual inspection and measurement to ensure products meet specifications.Candidates should possess skills in using hand tools safely and effectively for adjustments, finishing, and minor repairs.Candidates should possess strong communication skills to follow instructions, coordinate with team members, and report issues clearly.Previous experience as a machine operator, preferably in woodwork, furniture, or related manufacturing, is highly beneficial.Ability to stand for extended periods, handle materials safely, and follow health and safety procedures is required.Basic reading of technical drawings or production orders and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment are important.A high school diploma or equivalent and willingness to work in shifts as needed are preferred.
