This Maintenance Engineer role offers a fantastic salary of £51,000 and the opportunity to work with one of the UK's largest manufacturing organisations at its facility in Throckley. The successful Maintenance Engineer will benefit from:A base salary up to £51k per annum, plus bonus, and overtime also available at a minimum of x 1.5, x 2Company pension matched up to 10%Share option scheme, plus employee benefits programContinental shift pattern - Days and NightsTraining programs, electrical training and qualifications to become multi-skilled and career development opportunities etc.Key Responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer:To carry out essential planned mechanical maintenance and complete necessary repairs to keep factories in good working orderInvolvement in on-going process improvement throughout the factories, developing new ideas and better solutionsCarry out Planned Preventative Maintenance, Inspections, Service and Repairs, hydraulic machinery, bearings, shafts, conveyor-based systems etc. Qualifications & Experience:Applicants must hold a recognised Mechanical Engineering qualification such as an Advanced Apprenticeship & or; Level 3 NVQ with BTEC Level 3 or above, City & Guilds in Mechanical Engineering/Craft studiesDemonstrable knowledge & expertise in PPM and reactive maintenance on Industrial Plant & EquipmentHigh degree of Health & Safety awareness.In return, you will be offered a truly varied role within a dynamic and a fast-paced business, providing opportunities to develop your skill set and progress your career.
