Maintenance Engineer

Al Watania For Industries is Hiring: Maintenance EngineerIndustry: Manufacturing (Plastics / Metal Can Making / Paper Products)About the Role:We are looking for experienced Maintenance Engineers to lead maintenance activities and keep our production lines running reliably. We have openings in Plastic, CAN Making (Steel & Metal), and Paper products manufacturing.Key responsibilities:Plan and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs for production machines and utilitiesLead troubleshooting of complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic breakdownsSupervise and guide maintenance technicians during shifts, repairs, and shutdownsCarry out root cause analysis of repeated failures and put corrective actions in placeManage spare parts planning, critical stock levels, and tooling and die maintenanceSupport machine installations, modifications, changeovers, and startupsTrack maintenance KPIs such as MTBF, MTTR, and downtime, and prepare reportsEnforce safety and lockout/tagout procedures at all times

Requirements

1 to 7 years of hands-on maintenance experience in Plastic, CAN Making (Steel & Metal), or Paper manufacturing (mandatory)Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics EngineeringStrong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical control systems, and PLCsAbility to read technical drawings, electrical schematics, and machine manualsWillingness to work shiftsPreferred: Experience with CMMS or SAP PM, PLC programming (Siemens / Allen-Bradley), and TPM or reliability-centered maintenance.
