Jobe ScopeProvide engineering governance, troubleshooting, and technical support for Maintenance Engineering Support Section to improve equipment reliability, integrity, and maintenance effectiveness.Key Duties, Responsibility & Accountabilities Ensure compliance with SATORP HSSE, regulatory, and technical requirements across all Maintenance Engineering activities.Provide strategic leadership and oversight of Maintenance Engineering programs, including maintenance cost optimization, risk-based maintenance, failure analysis, and asset performance improvement initiatives.Provide Engineering leadership and coordination for Routine maintenance, Critical Equipment maintenance, Turnarounds, shutdowns and asset integrity initiatives.Govern Engineering standards, Maintenance strategies, and Maintenance procedures to ensure safe, compliant, and optimized asset performance.Direct and approve troubleshooting activities and Maintenance Engineering recommendations to mitigate operational risks and enhance equipment reliability.Ensure the effective development, implementation, and continuous improvement of preventive, predictive, corrective and condition-based Maintenance programs for Mechanical and Instrumentation assets.Oversee the monitoring of equipment reliability, Maintenance effectiveness, recurring failures, and technical risks, ensuring timely corrective actions and sustainable performance improvements.Foster a culture of technical excellence, continuous improvement, and operational discipline through effective leadership, coaching, and development of Maintenance Engineering personnel.Define departmental priorities, allocate resources, and ensure the successful delivery of Maintenance Engineering objectives in alignment with business and operational goals.Govern spare parts optimization strategies to ensure the availability of critical materials while balancing reliability, operational risk, and cost effectiveness.Ensure effective utilization of CMMS to control maintenance activities, minimize reliability risks, and sustain asset integrity.RequirementsBachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Instrumentation Engineering or a related discipline.10-15 years of experience in relevant refinery, petrochemical experienceJob Specific Skills Proven team leadership experience.Proficiency in SAP/CMMS and applicable reporting toolsRisk-based maintenance and spare parts optimizationKnowledge of HSSE, PTW/LOTO, quality, and documentation requirementsPreferred CertificatesCMRP
