It also functions as a social hub where sports and entertainment fans can gather to enjoy live and streamed events in a vibrant, community-focused setting.Role Description The Maintenance Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, responsible for overseeing all maintenance operations within the sports facility. Day-to-day tasks include planning and implementing preventive maintenance schedules, supervising maintenance staff, and ensuring all equipment and building systems are functioning safely and efficiently. The role involves coordinating maintenance and repair activities, managing service requests, and liaising with external vendors and contractors when needed. The Maintenance Manager will monitor maintenance budgets, maintain accurate records, and ensure adherence to safety, regulatory, and quality standards. The position requires hands-on involvement in troubleshooting issues, prioritizing work orders, and supporting continuous improvement of facility reliability and user experience.Qualifications Strong supervisory skills with experience leading maintenance teams and coordinating daily workflows.Proficiency in equipment maintenance and maintenance & repair practices for mechanical, electrical, and facility systems.Demonstrated ability in preventive maintenance planning and execution to minimize downtime and extend asset life.Experience in maintenance management, including work order systems, vendor management, and budget tracking.Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations relevant to sports or commercial facilities.Hands-on technical background in facility maintenance; experience in sports or leisure complexes is an advantage.Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with operations, coaching staff, and external partners.Relevant technical diploma or degree in engineering, facilities management, or a related field preferred.Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends, as required by facility operations.
