Maintenance Manager

Role Description The Maintenance Manager is a part-time, on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, responsible for overseeing the upkeep and reliability of self storage facilities. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating and performing routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, equipment, and storage units, while ensuring safety and cleanliness standards are consistently met. The role manages preventive maintenance schedules, monitors work orders, and liaises with vendors and contractors to address more complex or specialized maintenance needs. The Maintenance Manager also tracks maintenance activities, supports operational improvements, and communicates effectively with site staff to minimize downtime and disruptions.QualificationsStrong Maintenance Management and Maintenance & Repair skills to oversee facility operations and ensure timely resolution of issues.Solid Equipment Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance skills to maintain building systems and implement proactive service schedules.Effective Supervisory Skills to coordinate maintenance staff, contractors, and vendors, and to support safe work practices.Experience in facilities or property maintenance, preferably in self storage, commercial, or industrial environments.Working knowledge of building systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC), tools, and safety regulations.Ability to prioritize tasks, maintain accurate maintenance records, and communicate clearly with colleagues and external partners.High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in maintenance, facilities management, or a related field is an asset.Willingness to work on-site in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with flexibility for part-time scheduling.
