Working with industry-leading technology, skilled teams and complex operations, you'll play an important role in helping us deliver safe and on-time outcomes.As a Maintenance Production Controller, you'll be responsible for the planning and coordination of aircraft maintenance events, ensuring the right resources, tooling, materials and facilities are in place to support operational requirements. Acting as a key link between Planning, Line Maintenance, Supply Chain and Operational teams, you'll help drive efficient maintenance execution while minimising operational impacts.What You'll Be Responsible ForPlanning and coordinating aircraft maintenance events across the Line Maintenance networkDeveloping maintenance schedules, task sequencing and resource plansManaging labour forecasting, workload balancing and resource utilisationEnsuring tooling, materials, facilities and equipment are available to support maintenance activitiesMonitoring maintenance work packages, identifying critical path items and managing operational constraintsCoordinating maintenance priorities, defects and deferred tasks to support aircraft availabilityProducing operational reports, forecasts and performance analysisCollaborating with internal stakeholders to optimise maintenance outcomes and drive continuous improvement initiativesSupporting operational readiness through effective planning, communication and problem solvingYou'll BringExtensive aircraft maintenance experience, ideally within an airline, MRO or closely related aviation environmentAn aircraft trade qualification or equivalent relevant industry experienceExperience in production planning, maintenance planning, scheduling or operational control environmentsStrong understanding of aircraft maintenance systems, processes and regulatory requirementsProven ability to forecast labour requirements and coordinate maintenance workloadsHighly developed analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skillsStrong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence across multiple teamsAdvanced proficiency across Microsoft Office applicationsThe ability to perform effectively in a dynamic operational environment where priorities can change quicklyWhy Qantas?Attractive salary and benefits under the Technical Salaried Staff Enterprise AgreementStaff travel benefits for you and eligible family membersCareer development opportunities across the Qantas GroupAccess to industry-leading training and development programsWork with some of Australia's most experienced aviation professionalsBe part of a team committed to safety, operational excellence and continuous improvementOur people are our greatest asset.
