JOB TITLE: Maintenance Supervisor – 3rd ShiftJOB TYPE: Direct-HireLOCATION: Yonkers, NY – OnsiteSTART DATE: October/November 2026SHIFT: Sunday–Thursday, 10:00 PM–6:30 AMWe are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team responsible for maintaining production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position will focus on equipment reliability, planned maintenance, troubleshooting, team leadership, and continuous improvement while supporting safe and efficient operations.ResponsibilitiesLead and direct maintenance technicians responsible for production and packaging equipment.Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance activities to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.Guide equipment troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and repair activities.Prioritize maintenance work based on production needs, equipment condition, and scheduled maintenance requirements.Ensure maintenance work is completed in accordance with applicable safety, quality, and documentation standards.Use maintenance management systems to coordinate work orders, schedules, equipment history, and planned maintenance.Coach, train, and develop maintenance personnel while supporting performance management and accountability.Identify and implement practical improvements to maintenance processes, equipment performance, and overall operations.Qualifications5+ years of industrial maintenance experience with responsibility for leading or supervising maintenance personnel; strong lead-level candidates performing comparable supervisory duties may be considered.Strong experience maintaining and troubleshooting production and/or packaging equipment.Demonstrated experience managing preventive maintenance programs and working with a CMMS.Experience supporting predictive maintenance activities and equipment reliability initiatives.Working knowledge of PLC-controlled equipment with the ability to oversee and understand troubleshooting activities; programming expertise is not required.Ability to interpret technical drawings and support mechanical and equipment troubleshooting.Demonstrated ability to identify root causes, solve equipment problems, and implement process improvements.Strong leadership experience with the ability to direct, develop, and hold technical teams accountable.EOE STATEMENT:We are an equal opportunity employer.
