TexoFib’s portfolio continues to grow, including PP geotextiles that enhance waterproofing system performance and laminated drainage composites for demanding infrastructure and waterproofing applications.Role Description The Maintenance Technician role is a full-time, on-site position based at TexoFib’s facility in Jubail. This role is responsible for performing routine and corrective maintenance on production equipment, machinery, and related systems to ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted operations. Daily tasks include diagnosing equipment issues, carrying out mechanical and electrical repairs, conducting preventive maintenance activities, and documenting maintenance work in accordance with company procedures. The Maintenance Technician collaborates with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime, supports installation and commissioning of new equipment, and adheres to safety and quality standards at all times. The role may involve working in shifts and responding to urgent breakdowns or maintenance requests as needed.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong equipment maintenance and industrial maintenance skills relevant to continuous production environments.Candidates should possess troubleshooting and maintenance & repair skills to diagnose faults and restore equipment functionality efficiently.Candidates should possess preventive maintenance skills, including planning and executing scheduled inspections and servicing.Candidates should possess basic mechanical and electrical knowledge applicable to industrial machinery and systems.Vocational diploma, technical certificate, or associate degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance field is preferred.Experience working in manufacturing, industrial, or process plant settings, ideally within geosynthetics, plastics, textiles, or similar industries.Ability to read technical drawings and manuals, use maintenance tools and diagnostic instruments, and follow safety procedures and lockout/tagout practices.Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
