Process/Maintenance Technicians required to work 24/7 shift in North Cork Medical Devices facility.Open to existing Technicians in the sector or similar manufacturing facilities, or electrical or trade qualified professionals who are interested in making the transition to industry, particularly within the parameters of a global medical devices organisation.This company is currently undergoing much growth, development and expansion, therefore affording unrivalled career progression opportunities currently and in the future.About the RoleGreat opportunity to become part of a growing medical devices team in North Cork as they continue to grow their Irish operation in the sector.Seeking Process/Maintenance Technicians who will be responsible for machine performance and up time, together with process support , trouble shooting of product defects, process issues, identifying equipment function faults, adjustments and set up.ResponsibilitiesProduction output of a Class III Medical Device dealing with the day to day running of a fully automated process (e.g. loading/unloading hoppers, loading/unloading trolleys, loading/unloading hatches & other duties as required).Responsible for machine performance and up time.Contribution to targets related to Safety, Quality, Compliance and Continuous Improvement.Process support – trouble shooting of product defects, process issues, identifying equipment functions and faults, equipment adjustment and set up.Additional cleaning responsibilities while working in the clean room.Quality: Assure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements.Health & Safety: Ensure compliance with Health & Safety Legislation and Regulations.QualificationsLevel 6 qualification in electrical/mechanical discipline and/or lesser qualification with sufficient experience working in one or more of the following automation control, tool-making, maintenance, electrical or mechanical /fitter roles.Required SkillsGood interpersonal skills.Ability to communicate effectively with people.Be Computer Literate.Be prepared to work on rotating shift (days, nights and weekends) and be available for overtime.Preferred SkillsAt least two year’s experience is desirable, however full training will be provided.Pay range and compensation packageCompetitive base salary with attractive shift premium and flexibility, pension and individual healthcare.
