Maintenance Technician

Role DescriptionResponsible for inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment, machinery, and facility systems to ensure safe and reliable operations.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform routine and preventive maintenance on equipment and machinery.Inspect equipment and identify mechanical, electrical, or operational issues.Troubleshoot and repair equipment breakdowns and faults.Conduct maintenance checks, testing, and equipment servicing.Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.Ensure tools, spare parts, and equipment are properly maintained.Respond to maintenance requests and minimise equipment downtime.Follow workplace safety procedures and maintenance standards.Assist with equipment installation, upgrades, and improvement projects.QualificationsCertificate, Diploma, or relevant qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Maintenance Engineering.Previous experience as a Maintenance Technician is preferred.Good knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or building systems.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Good attention to detail and safety awareness.Able to work independently and as part of a team.Willing to work shifts, weekends, or public holidays when required.
