Apply & track with Apply EdgeJob SummaryExecute and support preventive and corrective maintenance activities across the manufacturing facility. Ensure industrial systems, heavy machinery (including overhead cranes, batching plants, and block machines), and factory assets are maintained safely and efficiently in accordance with company procedures, production requirements, and safety regulations.Duties & ResponsibilitiesPerform hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs for factory machinery, including EPS machines, cranes, block machines, and batching plants.Execute assigned preventive and corrective maintenance tasks according to daily and weekly schedules to minimize production downtime.Conduct regular physical inspections of factory equipment, heavy-lifting mechanisms (overhead cranes, motor crane), and electromechanical systems.Collaborate with maintenance supervisors, machine operators, and subcontractors to complete required maintenance activities safely.Update work orders through the CMMS or daily maintenance logs upon the successful completion of machinery repairs.Assist in organizing and maintaining inventory for maintenance materials, mechanical/electrical spare parts, tools, and industrial equipment.Ensure all hands-on maintenance work strictly complies with industrial safety requirements, heavy lifting codes, proper lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures, and company policies.Diagnose mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic faults during machinery breakdowns and implement practical, timely repairs.Report machinery conditions, recurring issues, and work progress directly to the maintenance supervisor or plant manager.Respond promptly to emergency maintenance and breakdown calls during active production shifts to keep the factory running smoothly.Qualifications/SkillsTechnical Diploma or Vocational Certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electromechanical Technology.Preferably 2 - 5 years of hands-on experience as a maintenance technician in an industrial plant or heavy manufacturing environment.Practical experience in maintaining heavy machinery, particularly batching plants, overhead cranes, block machines, and EPS production systems.Strong hands-on knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair.Familiarity with basic computer applications and maintenance logging systems.Strong awareness of industrial workplace safety and hazards associated with heavy machinery.Good communication skills in Arabic and English.A strong team player capable of working well with machine operators and factory management.Willing to work flexible shifts and respond to emergency factory maintenance requirements when necessary to support continuous operations.
