Maintenance Technician

We are looking for a hands-on Maintenance Technician with strong mechanical and machinery expertise to join the operations team at Salamah Vehicle Inspection centers. The successful candidate will be responsible for keeping inspection equipment and systems fully operational, leading preventive and corrective maintenance activities, and supervising day-to-day technical work to ensure uninterrupted operations at the highest quality and safety standards.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform preventive and corrective maintenance on vehicle inspection equipment, machinery, and testing systemsDiagnose mechanical and electro-mechanical faults and carry out the appropriate corrective actionSupervise the maintenance team, allocate daily tasks, and monitor quality of executionPrepare and implement periodic maintenance schedules and ensure adherence to manufacturer specificationsMaintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, spare-parts records, and equipment history reportsCoordinate with external vendors and service providers for specialized repairs and calibrationMonitor equipment calibration and ensure compliance with regulatory and technical standardsEnforce occupational health and safety procedures within the workshop and inspection lanesRecommend spare-parts requirements and support inventory planning to minimize downtimeReport equipment performance, recurring failures, and improvement opportunities to the Operations ManagerSkillsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilityTeam leadership and task supervisionAttention to detail and commitment to safety standardsGood reporting and documentation skillsWorking proficiency in English and Arabic
