The Maintenance Technician will perform daily equipment inspections, routine servicing, and scheduled preventive maintenance on industrial machinery used in plastic recycling and production. Responsibilities include diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, carrying out timely repairs, and coordinating with operations staff to minimize downtime and maintain safety standards. The role involves maintaining detailed records of maintenance activities, supporting installation and commissioning of new equipment, and adhering to company policies, environmental guidelines, and workplace safety procedures. The Maintenance Technician will collaborate with supervisors and engineers to improve equipment performance and support continuous improvement initiatives within the facility.

Role Summary

To ensure reliability and smooth functioning of all plant machinery through preventive and corrective maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on: o Dryer systems o Conveyor belts and motors o Shredder equipment o Board cutting machines o Thermal fluid heating system (hot & cold loop systems)
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Maintain temperature control systems and pumps for thermal fluid circuits.
• Conduct regular inspection of bearings, belts, gearboxes, and lubrication systems.
• Ensure proper functioning of safety interlocks and sensors.
• Minimize downtime through quick diagnosis and repair.
• Maintain maintenance records and logs (breakdown, preventive, predictive).
• Coordinate with supervisor for scheduled maintenance activities.
• Ensure availability of critical spare parts.
• Support installations, upgrades, and commissioning of new equipment.
• Adhere strictly to safety standards and lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures.Job Location : Dubai Salary : AED 5,000 per month (Gross Salary)
