The role ensures vehicle reliability, safety, and operational readiness through effectivemaintenance practices and technical support for mechanical, electrical, and related vehicle systems, in compliance with applicable quality, safety, andoperational standards.

Key Responsibilities

Perform inspections, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on commercial fleet vehicles.Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance activities in accordance with maintenance schedules and procedures.Service, test, replace, and repair vehicle components and systems, including braking, suspension, drivetrain, and electrical systems.Record maintenance activities, repairs, and spare parts usage in the CMMS/ERP system.Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and maintenance standards.Coordinate with supervisors and spare parts teams to ensure timely completion of maintenance work.Respond to vehicle breakdowns and support recovery activities to minimize fleet downtime

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Technical diploma or vocational certification in Diesel Mechanics, Automotive Technology .Minimum Experience:3 to 5 years of experience in diesel engine repair and maintenance of commercial vehicles.Skills:Working knowledge of vehicle electrical systemsWorking knowledge of suspension and drivetrain systemsFamiliarity with diagnostic tools used in commercial vehicle maintenanceValid driving license; heavy vehicle license is an advantage
