Apply & track with Apply EdgeThe role involves testing, troubleshooting, repairing, and modifying electronic systems and components—including computers, laser scanners, RFID readers, CCTV/traffic cameras, UPS, access control devices, and industrial control equipment. Work requires applying electronics theory, electrical circuitry, engineering math, equipment installation, programming, upgrades, and preventive maintenance.Key Responsibilities (Shortened)Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.Test, calibrate, maintain, and repair electronic units using standard tools and equipment.Replace defective components using hand tools and soldering equipment.Document work through reports, logs, and test records.Assist engineers with data, sketches, and basic circuitry design.Research parts, tools, and suppliers.Follow health & safety, maintain confidentiality, and support team operations.Perform emergency repairs and preventive maintenance on roadside gantry systems.Identify issues, report hazards, and solve technical problems.Required Skills & Knowledge (Shortened)Strong understanding of electronics, testing methods, repair techniques, and calibration.Ability to analyze data, solve problems, and ensure compliance with standards.Competence in computer use, including CAD, networking, Linux, Windows, MS‑DOS, and communication protocols.Ability to interpret technical documents, write reports, and communicate clearly.Physical ability to perform field work, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in varied environments (weather, traffic, mechanical areas).Experience & EducationDiploma in Electronics / Digital Equipment / PLC Systems.1–2 years experience in electronic control systems.Working knowledge of routers, switches, UPS, PCs, racks, and network tools.UAE driving license preferred.
