Our teams collaborate across Engineering, Maintenance, Operations, Facilities, Health & Safety, and Technical Services to maintain reliable systems and support efficient business operations.The RoleWe are seeking a motivated and technically curious Maintenance Technician Intern to support maintenance activities, equipment monitoring, troubleshooting, documentation, and preventive maintenance initiatives.This is an excellent opportunity for a student or early-career technical professional looking to gain practical experience in maintenance operations, equipment reliability, and technical support within an international and fully remote working environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist maintenance technicians and engineers with routine maintenance activities.Support preventive and corrective maintenance tasks under appropriate supervision.Assist with inspections of equipment, machinery, electrical systems, and facility assets.Record equipment conditions, maintenance activities, and inspection results.Support troubleshooting of basic mechanical, electrical, or technical issues.Assist with identifying equipment abnormalities and potential maintenance requirements.Help maintain preventive maintenance schedules and work-order records.Support the preparation of maintenance reports and technical documentation.Assist with maintaining accurate equipment and asset records.Follow maintenance procedures, technical instructions, and safety requirements.Support technicians during equipment repairs, servicing, and component replacement.Assist with basic testing and verification after maintenance activities.Monitor maintenance tasks and report outstanding issues to supervisors.Help organize maintenance tools, equipment, spare parts, and technical materials.Support inventory checks for maintenance components and consumables.Assist with equipment calibration and inspection activities where applicable.Participate in maintenance planning and scheduling activities.Help identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and maintenance efficiency.Support root-cause analysis and problem-solving activities under supervision.Assist in documenting recurring equipment faults and maintenance trends.Participate in safety inspections and workplace housekeeping activities.Follow company health, safety, environmental, and quality procedures.Maintain accurate records of maintenance-related documentation.Support coordination between Maintenance, Engineering, Operations, and Facilities teams.Assist with vendor or contractor coordination when required.Learn and apply relevant technical standards and maintenance best practices.Participate in technical meetings, training sessions, and continuous improvement initiatives.Maintain professional communication with team members and internal stakeholders.Protect company equipment, technical information, and confidential records.Perform other maintenance-related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.RequirementsCurrently pursuing or recently completed a diploma or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, Maintenance Technology, or a related technical field.Internship, academic project, or practical experience in maintenance, engineering, manufacturing, facilities, or technical operations is an advantage.Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, or electromechanical systems.Basic knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance concepts.Strong interest in equipment reliability, troubleshooting, and technical problem-solving.Good analytical and observational skills.Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.Ability to follow technical instructions and safety procedures.Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office or similar tools.Ability to document technical information accurately.Good teamwork and communication skills.Ability to learn new maintenance systems, tools, and technologies quickly.Strong written and verbal English communication skills.Ability to work independently and responsibly in a remote environment where applicable.UAE/GCC experience is an advantage but not required.Relevant technical training, certifications, or vocational qualifications are welcome but not mandatory.What We Offer🌍 Fully Remote Work Arrangement💼 Full-Time Maintenance Technician Internship📈 Technical Training, Mentorship & Professional Development🔧 Exposure to Maintenance, Engineering & Equipment Reliability🤝 International & Collaborative Working Environment🕒 Flexible Working Environment🚀 Opportunity to Develop Practical Technical & Troubleshooting Skills🌐 International Engineering & Operational Exposure
