We are committed to developing innovative and high-quality products that respond to evolving customer needs and strengthen our position in the regional beauty market.About the Role:We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Makeup Product Manager to lead the development and management of our makeup portfolio.The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of the cosmetics industry, including makeup trends, raw materials, formulations, international suppliers, manufacturers, packaging solutions, and sourcing markets.This role will manage the product journey from initial concept and market research through sourcing, formulation, packaging development, production, launch, and post-launch performance.Key Responsibilities:Market Trends & Product StrategyMonitor global and regional makeup trends, consumer preferences, competitor launches, ingredients, textures, shades, and product innovations.Identify new product opportunities based on market demand, customer insights, and commercial potential.Develop product concepts and seasonal makeup collections aligned with brand strategy.Product Development & InnovationLead the development of makeup products from concept to final production.Work closely with manufacturers and laboratories on formulas, shades, textures, performance, and product claims.Evaluate samples and formulations to ensure product quality, performance, and market relevance.Manage product testing, approvals, modifications, and final product specifications.International Sourcing & ManufacturingIdentify and evaluate suitable international manufacturers, laboratories, suppliers, and sourcing partners.Maintain strong knowledge of key manufacturing markets and determine the most suitable countries and suppliers for different makeup categories.Evaluate suppliers based on quality, capabilities, innovation, cost, lead time, MOQ, compliance, and production capacity.Source and assess raw materials, ingredients, components, and packaging solutions based on product requirements.Negotiate with external suppliers and manufacturing partners in coordination with Procurement and Supply Chain.Packaging DevelopmentIdentify suitable packaging manufacturers and suppliers for different makeup products.Evaluate packaging quality, functionality, design feasibility, cost, sustainability, and compatibility with formulations.Coordinate packaging development, samples, artwork, technical specifications, and final approvals.Stay updated on global packaging innovations and emerging beauty packaging trends.Cross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with Quality, Procurement, Supply Chain, Marketing, Creative, Production, and Sales teams.Ensure product timelines, launch plans, sourcing activities, and production requirements are properly coordinated.Support Marketing teams with product features, benefits, claims, ingredients, and competitive positioning.Product Performance & ReportingMonitor sales, profitability, customer feedback, product performance, and market response after launch.Analyze product performance and recommend improvements, reformulations, packaging updates, or portfolio changes.Maintain accurate product development documentation, specifications, costing, supplier information, and timelines.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.Relevant experience in Makeup Product Development, Product Management, Cosmetics, Beauty Manufacturing, or Sourcing.Strong understanding of makeup formulations, ingredients, raw materials, packaging, and manufacturing processes.Proven experience working with international suppliers, manufacturers, laboratories, and packaging companies.Strong knowledge of global makeup trends and beauty industry developments.Experience in sourcing products and evaluating manufacturing capabilities across international markets is highly preferred.Key Competencies:Strong product development and commercial mindset.Excellent understanding of makeup trends and consumer behavior.Strong sourcing and supplier management capabilities.Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.Ability to evaluate formulations, packaging, samples, and manufacturing options.Strong project management and organizational skills.High attention to detail and quality.Strong Arabic and English communication skills.Why Join Reef Holding?At Reef Holding, beauty innovation is a key part of our growth strategy.As a Makeup Product Manager, you will have the opportunity to shape our makeup portfolio from concept to market, work with international manufacturers and suppliers, explore the latest beauty trends and innovations, and contribute directly to developing competitive products for a fast-growing regional beauty business.
