Prospective team members join a growing, internationally connected network of education professionals.Role Description The Malaysia Student Counselor is a full-time, on-site role based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. This position is responsible for counseling prospective students about study opportunities in Malaysia, including program selection, admission requirements, and scholarship options. The role involves conducting one-on-one and group counseling sessions, responding to inquiries, guiding students through application and visa processes, and maintaining accurate records of interactions and progress. The counselor collaborates with team members and partner institutions, participates in student recruitment events, and helps develop outreach activities to increase awareness of Malaysian education pathways. Daily tasks also include providing ongoing support to students and families, ensuring timely communication and high-quality service.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Student Counseling and Education-related skills to guide learners through study options in Malaysia.Candidates should possess solid Career Counseling abilities to advise students on academic choices aligned with future career paths.Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with students, families, and institutional partners.Candidates should ideally have experience in international education consultancy or a related field, with knowledge of Malaysian higher education systems.Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, Business, or a related discipline is preferred.Ability to work on-site in Dhaka, manage multiple cases simultaneously, and use common office and communication software efficiently.Proficiency in English and Bangla, with additional language skills considered an advantage.
