Be part of a collaborative and dynamic environment where your proactive approach and curiosity will be valued as you contribute to strategic financial decision-making and operational excellence.Key Responsibilities:Manage end-to-end accounts receivable and payable processes, ensuring timely collections and paymentsProcess payroll accurately and on time, maintaining employee records and ensuring compliance with legislation and awardsSupport payroll-related statutory reporting, such as Single Touch Payroll, BAS, FBT, and GSTReconcile payroll reports and investigate discrepancies promptlyAs your understanding deepens, take on wider management accounting duties including budgeting, forecast preparation, variance analysis, and financial reportingAssist with month-end and year-end close activities with a focus on accuracy and complianceProvide meaningful financial insights and commentary to support management decision-makingSupport business units with financial analysis, cost management, and operational performance reviewsContribute to process improvements, system upgrades, and internal controls to optimise reporting and payroll workflowsEssential Skills & Qualifications:Proven experience in managing payroll and accounts receivable/payable (end-to-end)Experience processing end-to-end payroll, with strong knowledge of Australian legislation, taxation, superannuation, and complianceStrong communication skills, capable of liaising effectively with stakeholders across all levelsNatural curiosity and a proactive mindset to learn and expand your responsibilitiesStrong reconciliation, analytical, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detailAbility to manage deadlines and juggle multiple priorities efficientlyDemonstrated ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and professionallyPreferred Education & Experience:Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Commerce, Business, or a related disciplineCPA/CA qualification or working towards professional membershipMinimum 3 years of experience in management accounting and payroll processingAdditional Requirements:Strong team player with excellent stakeholder engagement skillsWillingness to adapt to evolving systems and processes as the role expandsIf you're eager to develop your management accounting career with a reputable firm that promotes curiosity and communication, we encourage you to apply now.
