Management Accountant

General Purpose of the PositionTo contribute to the implementation and development of managerial accounting and cost accounting practices by collecting and analysing financial and operational data, and preparing analytical reports and models that support decision-making, enhance resource efficiency, and contribute to the entity’s strategic objectives.Duties and ResponsibilitiesContribute to the preparation and implementation of managerial accounting and cost accounting projects in accordance with approved methodologies.Collect and analyse operating and capital cost data and prepare analytical reports to support decision-making.Participate in developing cost accounting models and identifying cost centres and cost drivers in coordination with the relevant stakeholders.Support the preparation of policies, procedures, and guidelines related to managerial accounting and cost accounting.Analyze variances between planned and actual costs and provide recommendations to improve spending efficiency.Contribute to the preparation of required financial and economic studies.Prepare periodic reports for the direct manager, including results, challenges, and recommendations.Contribute to building and updating financial databases used for analysis and reporting.Participate in workshops and meetings related to the development of financial systems and policies.General Behavioural CompetenciesWorking effectively, communication, creative thinking, problem-solving, flexibility and adaptability, relationship-building, organisational and ethical awareness, and results orientation.Technical CompetenciesManagerial accounting and cost accounting, financial analysis and reporting, financial modelling, use of the SAP financial system, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Academic QualificationBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or an equivalent field.Required Years of ExperienceA minimum of 3 years of practical experience, preferably in managerial accounting, cost accounting, or financial analysis.Work Environment BenefitsA professional environment that supports continuous learning and development.Exposure to diverse and impactful procurement activities and projects.Opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary team.Professional development and career growth opportunities based on performance and organizational requirements.SalaryA competitive salary and benefits package, determined based on qualifications, experience, and approved policies.Preferences or Special ConditionsProfessional certifications in cost accounting or financial analysis are preferred.Proficiency in both Arabic and English.Willingness to attend meetings and workshops within the Emirate.UAE National
